Money is a difficult subject to talk about at any age or stage. It means different things to different people. Studies have shown that having conversations about money is one of the leading causes of disharmony and disagreement in couples so not surprisingly it becomes a subject easily put off until you absolutely have to.
The worry about the future generations has been a discussion point with a number of our older clients recently. They are usually pretty confident that their own children are reasonably placed financially for their future but they are concerned about how the grandkids are going to fare & wonder what they can do to help.
