The ImPower team
Qualified – Experienced – Client Focussed
I believe that everyone has a better life when they are on top of their personal finances. This involves understanding what is happening and having the confidence to make smart financial decisions.
Tony has over 20 years’ experience working with clients to help them solve their financial problems. He has a wealth of knowledge right across the financial services area – not all problems fit into nice little boxes!
Tony wants New Zealanders to understand the real value of timely, unbiased, financial wellbeing advice. In an industry which is dominated by financial products, unbiased advice can be hard to find. Many people have not been able to enjoy the benefits which such advice can provide.
He founded ImPower in 2016 with the stated goal of making such independent help available to a broad cross section of New Zealanders.
For many years, Tony has held the Certified Financial Planner (CFPCM) credential. This is an internationally recognised designation which demonstrates competency and ethical practice in the broad field of personal financial planning.
Tony is happily married with two adult sons. Over the years he has been involved in a wide range of community and industry organisations.
Your financial wellness is a priority for me – I love seeing the positive impact a few changes can make to your whole life!
Jessica graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Property. She then successfully exited a retail business venture, after increasing the profit by more than 50% within the first two years.
She spent over 8 years as the financial manager for a construction company. However, realising that she wanted to spend more time working with individuals and families, Jessica decided to make a significant career change. She relocated to her home town so she could gain her qualification as an Authorised Financial Adviser while at the same time being in a better position to raise her young family.
